Outdoor Adventure Camp - Camp Discovery
In keeping with the school's mission of providing a quality holistic education, the school organises a cohort camp annually. The 3D2N residential camp, a key school programme for our Primary 5 students leverages on the outdoor experience to help students discover more about themselves, their peers and the outdoors.
Camp Objectives
- To instill in the students the school values and to develop them in the 21st Century Competencies through experiential learning
- To allow the students to discover their strengths through creative thinking and confidence building activities
- To build teamwork amongst the level students in an outdoor adventure environment
The camp programme includes a range of activities to meet the above objectives. These include tent pitching, height-based activities (high elements/rock wall), water-based activities (dragon boating/kayaking), team-building activities, artificial caving, navigation-based activities, outdoor cooking and a campfire experience.
Through the camp, the students also have the opportunity to live and work with one another as they develop and hone their social emotional learning skills.
